The next item was the aileron hinge brackets.  Here the outboard hinge bracket is clecoed to the rear spar, ready for match-drilling.
The inboard aileron hinge bracket.
With the inboard hinge bracket, I found that I needed to cleco it to this 2x6 to match-drill it properly.
The outboard hinge bracket riveted to the rear spar.  A number of the rivets are flush rivets, requiring countersinking.  I squeezed the rivets that go into the rib, but the others required the gun.  I used the straight set and achieved pretty good results.
The inboard hinge bracket.  Again, a couple of the rivets are flush and require countersinking.  The rivets fastening the bracket to the rear spar required the gun and the double angle set.  Usually I don't do that well with the double angle set but this time the rivets came out well.  I think it is because I could get my eye very close to the rivet to make sure the set was perfectly straight and vertical.
The most-inboard rivets fastening the top skin to the rear spar remained.  The reason these are tough is because of the rear spar reinforcer.  You just can't get the squeezer in there.  I tried using the gun and my "hammerhead" bucking bar but all I succeeded in doing was dinging the reinforcer.  So I gave the squeezer another try and found there was just enough real-estate to to squeeze the rivet.
