September 9, 2008 - Prep Wings for painting

I spent two and a half hours yesterday, and another two and a half hours today prepping the wings for priming.  Lot of work -- I now understand why having an airplane painted costs so much.

I bought some wide masking paper at Wal-Mart.  I only needed two strips for each wing.  Saved me a lot of time and tape.

The topside of the horizontal stabilizer.  The curves came out nicely, I think.

The rudder color coat had some flaws so I sanded it down.  It's ready for another color coat.
