September 19, 2008 - Move Wings to Airport

Bruce lent me his Tundra to move the wings to the airport. Lynnette and I loaded the wing stand into the truck bed, strapped it down, then loaded the wings. The trip to the airport was uneventful. So now the wings and empennage are at the airport. I have to finish up the fuselage, then it will be ready for the trip to the paintbooth.

I had taped up the wings, then Bruce sprayed the Dakota Black and clear coat. Sorry for the blurry picture but you get the idea. They came out just the way I wanted -- very glossy.
