May 19, 2008 - Trimming Baffles

 Now it is time to start trimming the top edges of all the baffles.  Last night, while still on the plane, I had marked the baffle top edges where I needed to cut to make them all horizontally aligned.  I figured I'd start with that.  The goal is for the baffle top edges to be 3/8" to 1/2" below the top cowl all the way around. 

The baffle material is thin enough to cut with the shears, fortunately.  I drilled 1/8" holes at the bends of the cut line.
