| On the lef tside, there is no room between the muffler and the firewall so I decided to run the radiator plumbing inside the firewall foot recess. There was no interference problem with the rudder pedals. First I drilled a a hole in the bottom, just inside the firewall. Then I had to open it up with the dremel tool. I had to go through three layers -- the plywood floor, and then two sheets of aluminum. Here I am with the dremel tool, bits of wood and aluminum streaming all over me. . | ||||||

So I've got the plumbing pretty much done. Now all I have to do is
secure the filler tank to the firewall, and clamp all the hoses. I
still have to mount an overflow bottle too.
