July 15, 2006 - The Kitfox Has Wings!
I've had the Kitfox now for almost two years, and have no idea if the wings will attach correctly or not.  So today was the day.  I wheeled the Kitfox out of the garage and chalked her good.
Next we brought the wings out of the basement.  This was a family all-hands evolution!
Looking good.
After a little bit of effort, we got the right wing on.  I'm no stranger to attaching wings to fuselages, since you do that all the time with gliders.  It was hot and despite the smiles, my work crew wanted to get this over with pronto.
Left wing attached. 
 
A tab on the left wing where the jury strut attaches is not right, so that will have to get fixed.
Looking good!  The flaperons fit nicely and work as advertised.
I trial-fitted the prop for the first time. 
Still lots of other parts to put on.
