June 28, 2005 - F704 Bulkhead

About 18 nutplates go on the F-704 bulkhead flanges.  But it was an easy job.  The nutplates riveted on nicely with the hand squeezer.
Next, I had to drill a couple of large holes in the center of the bulkheads for snap bushings.  Wires, cables or something like that go through these holes.  There was no starter hole pre-drilled for some reason.

You can some of the flange nutplates at the top of the image.

Here is a shot of the forward bulkhead with the cover support brackets clecoed on.  The cover support required some preparation work:  drilling snap bushing holes, countersinking for nutplates, match-drilling to the bulkhead.  I had to study the plans quite a bit; the instructions aren't very detailed anymore.
