I'm supposed to cut that area away to reduce weight. But without a
band saw, I can't think of a quick way to do it.

| First I bolted the control mechanism supports to the aft bulkhead, then started fitting the control mechanism together. It took longer than you might think. First you have to find the parts. Then study to then plans to see how they go together. Then do some filing and reaming to get them to go together. | ||||||
