June 18, 2005 - Fuselage

I flew over to Ridgely Airport on the Maryland eastern shore.  They have a good-sized hang-glider operation going.  They use this ultralight on steroids to tow the hang-gliders.  Today was a good soaring day, lots of strong thermals.
My friend Darryl is trying to get a glider operation going over there.  He owns the tow plane pictured here as well as the 1-26.  I helped him put a patch on his engine baffling now that I am an expert on working with aluminum!
