August 24, 2006 - Countersinking the Cabin Frame

I had dreaded having to countersink all the cabin frame holes.  It the event, it went surprisingly quickly.  I was able to knock it out in an evening.

For me, the secret to countersinking is having something underneath to guide the countersinking bit.  I left the cabin frame clecoed together so the strips could act as the guide.  It worked pretty well.

A look from the side.
A close-up.
Countersinking complete!
