May 12, 2006 - Flap Mechanism
I started fabricating the bearing blocks for the steel tube flap acuator.  Here I'm working on the center bearing block.
All done.  The center bearing block is at bottom.  My cut wasn't exactly straight, but it doens't matter as long as the two halves mate cleanly. 
I bolted the end bearing blocks to the F-705 bulkhead.  Mistake.  I realized I couldn't fit the flap actuator with the bearing blocks bolted inside the airplane.  I had to remove the blocks and put them on the flap actuator outside the airplane.
