May 2, 2010 - Clearview Airport
Had a nice Formation Flying practice with Dragon Flight this Sunday morning. Afterwards, I zipped over to nearby Clearview to buy some aviation oil. Here I am overhead Clearview. Fortunately the wind was favoring runway 14 which is the uphill runway. That's important. Don't believe me? Try landing on runway 32 someday.
Here the RV sits at Clearview with the FBO Building/Pilot
shop in the background. For a small store, they have a great
selection of aviation stuff.
The RV looking pretty in the grass.
The fuel here is usually the cheapest around.

Heading back to Essex, I flew over this estate which is inside the Baltimore Beltway (I-695). I've always wondered who owns this huge piece of land so close to the city.
Skirting Baltimore to the north. I have to stay beneath 1500 feet to stay under Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Class B airspace. The RV's speed is nice at this point. I'm not over the city very long.
