May 5, 2010 - Mid-Week Late Afternoon Flight
The weather on this Wednesday was great -- warm, sunny, light winds -- so I headed out to the Skypark after work. Just by coincidence, Bruce arrived the same time I did. Great minds think alike! I hoped in the RV and he hoped in the Cub and we went aviating.
I pulled some serious G's for awhile then throttled back and just cruised around at 110 mph burning 5gph. I don't know what kind of plant/flower all this red was but it looked good from the air.

Since it was late afternoon, the deer were out in
force.
I arrived back to Essex ahead of Bruce so I shot some
landings. Bruce showed up and we flew around together for a little
while. Then regretfully it was time to land and put the planes back
in the barn.
