November 23, 2006 - Thanksgiving Day |

Yes, it's Thanksgiving Day. The family -- and it's a big one -- always comes over to our house for Thanksgiving. I didn't work on the RV-7 but I did clean up the workshop real well. | ||||||
FLASHBACK! This is my workshop just prior to starting the project
2 3/4 years ago. I had my toolkit but had yet to drill and deburr
a single hole or edge-smooth an aluminum edge.

I have turned the "library" wing of the basement into the parts storage
area. There the canopy sits, soon to be cut. That's a Ka-8
glider canopy in the background. All those books? Yeah, I
read most of them. I used to read 30-40 non-fiction books a year
-- that's before I started the RV project, of course..

And there it is: the turkey. One of two. Plus ham.
Let's just say for the rest of the day I ate and drank too much.
