August 28, 2008 - Canopy Fairing |

| I got up early this morning and did some sanding and filling. | ||||||

I marked spots needing attention with
blue
tape.

| I've beenusing the Norton 3X High Performance Sandpaper Lynnette picked up at Home Depot for me. I find the 120 works the best for sanding the canopy fairing. The instructions call for 60 but that's too rough. I use a little hardwood rectangular block for my sanding block. I tried using a 1 1/2" diameter PVC pipe but I didn't like it. | ||||||

| I finally got around to dimpling the wing access plates. | ||||||
| I riveted the camloc recepticles to the top cowl. | ||||||
| And installed the male ends on the oil filler door. The door is pretty much done except for riveting. | ||||||
