I've always disliked jacking the Citabria because there is no good place
to put the jack. I don't want it to be that way with my RV. I
don't want anything that might make it less likely that I do the proper
maintenance. If it's nerve-wracking to jack the airplane, then I
might be tempted not to grease the bearings, change the tires or put new
brake linings on. So I ordered a jacking kit sold by Avery Tools.
All you have to do is modify the axle nuts a little, then you can jack a
wheel up with a bottle jack.
