A beautifully polished 1947 Cessna 120.
An equally beautifully polished 1946 Globe GC-1B Swift.

I was fascinated by this plane, never having seen one before. I couldn't believe how low its belly hung to the ground. It turns out that it is a Howard 500. Of the 20 or so that were built, only two are still flying. This is one of them. |
And this is the other! The Howard 500 was an American executive transport aircraft produced by Howard Aero Inc during the early 1960s.

A Luscombe Model 10 single-seater. It's powerplant was a 65 hp Continental. Luscombe felt that there was not a sufficient market for a single-seater, and decided not to develop it. The single prototype was destroyed. So where did this one come from? |
Of course I had to include a picture of Chippy, Mark M.'s Lindy aware-winning Super Chipmunk.
I had some fun taking a picture of myself using the highly polished side of a twin Beech.
An Army UC-64A Norseman, built in 1943, and served in Alaska during WWII. Looks like the perfect bush plane for Alaska. Over 900 were produced.

Another perfectly polished Swift. I thought this was the best polished airplane at AirVenture.
Worthy of another picture.
If I could have any plane after my RV, it would be this Republic SeaBee.
