November 25, 2007 - Power up the Panel!

All I had remaining of the main power circuit was to crimp on a terminal to the #8 wire that runs from the copper bar between battery and starter contactors to the Main bus.  I did that.  I also mounted the Current Limiter to the firewall.  I didn't do a very good job of making it level, did I?  I don't need to wire it up just yet as it goes between the copper bus and the alternator.

I held my breath, and turned on the Master switch.  Everything was fine -- no pops, sparks or smoke.  I only had two systems hooked up.  the Dynon and the Flaps.  They both worked fine, although I need to reverse the flap motor wires so that the flap movement corresponds to the switch direction.

The Dynon looked great.  I'm really going to enjoy flying with it, I think.  It's lightyears beyond what the Citabria had.
