July 22, 2014 - Glue Inner Webs to Ladders |
||||||
OK, it's time to glue the inner web to the ladder, covering up all my nice workmanship. I start with one of the lower wing ladders.

Applying T-88 epoxy. Bruce suggested using a plastic squeeze bottle to apply the expoxy, then spread it with a piece of flat plastic. This worked great and halved the application time.

Both sides get epoxied. Here the ladder and inner web are epoxied.
I flip the inner web over on to the ladder, then put the clamps on. I also used little brass nails in between the clamps where required.
