January 5, 2014 - Wingtip Ribs Assembly Line
I'm in the assembly line mode with the wingtips and the end is in sight. The wingtip rib on the right is the farthest along. I've got the horizontal piece glued in place. But it still needs the gussets on the opposite side glued in.
The other five wingtip ribs all have the gussets on one side in place.
The most important thing was to put the gussets and horizontal piece on the correct side. Three of the wingtip ribs are right-handed, and three are left-handed.
A few days later. The two on the right are all done, with gussets and supports on both side of the horizontal piece.
The one in the middle has just been glued and is all clamped up.
From another angle. I ended up spending quite a few hours making the wing tip ribs. But they came out great. I'm happy with them.
