February, 2014 - Spar Ladder Webs
Now that the strips are cut and scarfed, they are ready to be glued into one long web 17 or more feet long.
The spar table is once again indispensible. I fit one web together to check the measurements once last time.
I lay down wax paper so my web doesn't get glued to the spar table, then spread the T-88 epoxy on both surfaces to be glued, and clamp it down. I glued two webs at a time. Each web separated by wax paper.
Days later, five webs are complete.
