Mike R. (Cuban) and I got together Saturday morning to do a fly-by for a Radio-Controlled model club. I was just rolling out at Carroll County Airport (DMW) when I heard on the radio a B-25 announce he was coming in.
Sure enough, it was the B-25 based out of Georgetown,
Delaware: Panchito. | ||||||
Mike demonstrating the "RV grin".
I figured I should get a picture of the Skytech FBO since
we are here so often and they've been a great host. I just had my
SL-60 Comm/GPS repaired by them.
Panchito taxiing in front of us. I wish I had thought to ask them if Mike and I could fly form on them.
Mike and I did a quick practice flight which was really valuable for me to work on my technique. Then we flew into the SFRA -- Mike did all the communicating as a flight of two -- to the RC airstrip where we did a few fly-bys.
