September 24, 2008 - Lightspeed hookup
My order of D-Sub pins and 15-pin connector arrived from B&C Specialty Products so I crimped the Lightspeed wires and fabricated the connector that plugs into the Lightspeed "brainbox". I like D-Sub pins. Much easier than soldering the wires to the connector.
Most of the wires come from the wire bundle that runs from the Lightspeed sensor near the prop. One shielded wire runs to the ignition switch. Another is attached to the right RPM wire that feeds the Dynon.

And with the connector plugged
in. I'm going to have to get a mini-screwdriver, or something, to
screw the connector in,
however.
