Now it's time to install the landing light in the leading edge. I'm using the Duckworth Kit. It consists of a halligen car headlight and an installation kit specifically for the RV aircraft. First step is to cut a hole in the leading edge using the template guide provided.
I drilled a few holes in the leading edge with the Unibit, then used my metal snips to cut out most of the area.
Here is what it looks like after using the metal snips.
To get it right on the line, I used a dremel tool with a 1/8" wide sanding bit -- very carefully, Then I sanded it smooth with emery cloth and scotch-brite.
