February 2, 2004 - Fwd Spar Reinforcers
Here I am tapering the edges of the forward spar reinforcers. There is a top one and bottom one. I used a vixen file to taper the 1/4 inch thick aluminum. A band saw would have saved me a some time but I didn't feel like spending the money right now.
Here you can see the vixen file with the two spar reinforcers
alongside. As you can see, I filed a lot of aluminum off!
