HS Rear Spar

February 27, 2004 - HS Skin Riveting
The forward spar has been riveted together. Now it's time for the skins. The first step is to rivet this little rib into the forward-middle of the skin. The hand squeezer won't work this time. It's time to use the rivet gun which is a two-person job. I shoot the rivets; Lynnette holds the bucking bar.

Then the forward spar & rib assembly is inserted into the skin and everything clecoed down. Then it's all riveted together.

The completed Horizontal Stab. I didn't take any pictures of the right HS since it was the left all over again.
