AirVenture 2012 - RVs | ||||||
I really liked the paintjob on this brand new RV-7.
This RV-8 is painted as Soviet Mig-3 in winter
camouflage stationed near Moscow in the winter of 1942. It really
looks good. Well done, comrade!
These bright red RVs really shown in the sunlight.
This was my favorite paintjob of the
show. The builder did the painting himself.
Could you do this? I couldn't do it.
Check out the little spotlight in the horizontal stab tip!
I believe the builder's grandfather flew P-38s in WWII.
Even the belly was painted.
Amazing. | ||||||
This one is very similar to my plane. Just needs some insignia and invasion stripes.
Another unbelievable paint job.
Check out the ghosted detail in the yellow stripe.
The different shades of green, pinstriping, checkerboard: amazing.
The RV-10 provides a big canvas for the airplane artist.
Wow. | ||||||
It takes a pretty self-confident pilot to fly a pink airplane.
I liked the paintjob on this RV-7 parked in the Garmin booth.
