November 1, 2008 - Priming the Cowl

 I primed the cowl with the Loehle primer/filler.  I did it outside on the driveway.  It was only the second time I've used my cheapo Harbor Freight HVLP paint gun but it worked pretty well.

However, I was shocked by how many pinholes, depressions and scratches were still very visible on the cowl, even after the WonderFil and Priming.  It was as if I hadn't done any prep-work at all!  At least the spinner looks good and won't need any more prepping.
