November 4, 2008 - More Cowl Prep

On the top cowl, I tried filling with Rage Gold.  It works fine but I thought it too time consuming.  So, for the bottom cowl and top cowl sides, I brushed on epoxy diluted with acetone. 

The epoxy turned out to be a big mistake.  The epoxy is hard to sand off, much harder than the Rage Gold filler.  And it didn't fill very well, if at all.  The cowl is turning into a major time-sink. 

Anything else happen today?  Nah, can't think of anything.
