May 6, 2008 - Floor/Side Baffles

Here I'm making a vertical bend in the side baffle.  The side baffle angles inward to meet the cowl inlet.

I also have to alter the floor angle upwards.  There was no easy way to make this bend.  Just clamped it to the workbench as best I could and push down with a 2x4 block.

Then put the floor baffles back on along with the bottom cowl.  The cowl camlocs are really paying off now.  It's quick and easy to put the bottom cowl on.

I still need some more trimming on the right floor front so that it meets the cowl inlet.

I cut a little too much off the left floor front.  I may have to rivet on a little extension or perhaps the rubber strip that gets riveted on the floor baffle will be fine.  I marked the floor with a diagonal line.  Yet another bend has to be made so that the floor is even with the cowl inlet.  Per the instructions.
