May 6, 2008 - Floor/Side Baffles |
||||||
Here I'm making a vertical bend in the side baffle. The side baffle angles inward to meet the cowl inlet.
I also have to alter the floor angle
upwards. There was no easy way to make this bend. Just clamped
it to the workbench as best I could and push down with a 2x4
block.
|
||||||
Then put the floor baffles back on
along with the bottom cowl. The cowl camlocs are really paying off
now. It's quick and easy to put the bottom cowl
on.

I still need some more trimming on the right floor front so that it meets the cowl inlet.
I cut a little too much off the left floor front. I may have to rivet on a little extension or perhaps the rubber strip that gets riveted on the floor baffle will be fine. I marked the floor with a diagonal line. Yet another bend has to be made so that the floor is even with the cowl inlet. Per the instructions.
