May 2, 2008 -  Floor Baffles

I had skipped the #3 baffle assembly bracket because the oil filler tube was in the way.  I finally bit the bullet and removed the oil filler tube.  I had to bend the bracket a little to get it to fit, but otherwise it wasn't too ad.
   
Here's what the oil filler tube looked like before removing it. 
   
 Back with the left floor baffle.  I'm going to have to fashion the bracket I'm holding so it will support the floor.  It's going to be a challenge because there are no dimension call-outs.  It's going to be a lot of trim and fit, trim and fit. 
   
I attached the bottom cowl to get a feel where the baffle floors needed trimming. 
   
Yes, the forward edges need trimming, just like the instructions say.
