| The Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) were a little more involved the the CHT sensors but not much. You have to drill a 1/8" hole in each exhaust manifold. You want the sensors a uniform distance away from the exhaust manifold flange in a 2 to 8 inch range. Because of the way each pipe bent and the connect mechanism, I really didn't have much choice in the placement. For my setup, it was 2" from the flange. | ||||||

This is the right side. I have
the probes facing forward so they wouldn't interfere with the spark
plugs. I checked and made sure there were no interference problems
with the bottom
cowl.
