January 24, 2008 - More Emp Fairings

I edge-smoothed the emp fairing.  Then I drilled all the holes to #27 (to take #6 screws) and countersunk them.

This is the lower empennage fairing.  As you can see, it's aluminum, not fiberglass.  I edge smoothed the bottom edge, then tried trimming the upper edge so that it would fit up close to the bottom of the horizontal stab.  There was a lot of back and forth:  fit to the HS, trim, fit to the HS, trim.  It was getting old, so I decided to call it a night.
