March 28, 2006 - Right Seat |
Drill the left seat was time consuming because I had to measure everything out on the material and figure out the right drill order. The right seat went much faster. Instead of measuring everythng again, I just clamped the right angle stock to the drilled left angle and match-drilled.
Much faster!
Once the angles were drilled, I could use them to match-drill the seat
back. This is the top angle.
Using the bottom angle to match-drill the seat back.
Then I used the seat-back to match-drill the hinge! I drilled the corners last.
I think I did have to measure, mark
and drill the upper hinge (except for the ends), then match-drill it to the
seat back.
Both seats are drilled. It's starting to look like a cockpit! |
