March 24, 2006 - Seat Backs

I had previously cut the seat back alumimum angles to length.  But I still had to trim the ends according to the drawings.  The top angle needed radiusing as well.  The side angles needed a "notch" filed out of their bottom ends.
You can't really see it but the bottom hinge fits into the notch between the seat back and the side angle.
There was no easy way to make the "notch".  Or if there is, I don't know about it.  I just put the angle in the clamp and filed it with the vixen file.  It probably took about 500 or so passes with the file per side F-22Mar06.htmlangle.  There are four side angles.
