April 11, 2006 - More Upper Baggage Bulkhead

The drawings call for notches cut in the lower baggage bulkhead.  I already had the starter hole drilled.  I enlarged it to 3/8 with the Unibit.  Then I used the band saw to create the notch pictured below. 
So that the F-706 would be in it's proper position, I clecoed the upper skin on -- again -- then screwed the lower baggage bulkhead on, then duct taped the upper baggage bulkhead on.  Then I match-drilled to #19 the F-706 bulkhead and lower baggage bulkhead, using the upper baggage bulkhead as a template. 
My technical adviser, close observing the entire procedure.
