I felt very lethargic after dinner, but somehow had just enough willpower to make my way to
the basement to work on the RV. I need a #10 bit to continue on the
canopy, and I need daylight to prime the forward upper fuselage
components, so what to do? I decided I would finish up the seats so
I could sit in the left hand seat for the first time.
The seats and braces were done, but I had never got around to cutting and bending the hinge wires. I did that, as you can see. |
||||||
Then I inserted the hinges
connecting the seats to the seat floor and the seat backs to the braces.
I had to trim the outside rear of each brace to get it to fit within the canopy frame. |
||||||
And then, the big moment. I sit in the pilots seat for the very first time. | ||||||
Yeah, looking good.

I'll have no problem seeing the Dynon and GPS on the panel.
(Editor: what's with the sun glasses?)
