The Nav/Strobe mounting plate fit
nicely. There's no point in bolting it on now. That will
happen after the wingtip gets
painted.

| Time to install the Whelan Nav/Strobe lights on the wingtip. The lights came with a one page instruction sheet which included a drilling template. Pretty straight forward. I went through my standard procedure for the big hole: #40, #30, 1/2" Unitbit, 3/4" Unibit, then open the hole with the Dremel rotary cutter. | ||||||
