I think you need foam on the forward
floor primarily to cushion your feet. It probably helps a little
with noise reduction.

| From what I've read on the Vans Air Force forums, it's probably a good idea to have some kind of firewall shielding for two reasons: heat barrier and noise reduction. I ended up ordering the firewall and floor insulation kits from GeoBeck, Inc. (George & Becki Orndorff). I also ordered their firewall pattern which I used to cut out the firewall pieces as shown. | ||||||
