Sun N' Fun 2005 |

In the Exxon/Mattituck booth. Every afternoon, Mattituck had a 2-3 hour engine assembly or disassembly clinic. This is a TMX-360 that we are disassembling.
Not much left to disassemble!
|
||||||
All the parts. Great session. The Mattituck TMX-360 is on my short list -- the other is the Superior XP-360 -- for powering my RV-7.

Clearly, an experienced fly-in veteran.
The view from the west end of Sun 'N Fun where the general aviation camping area is.
Beautiful sunny Florida spring day.
Bruce, Ray, Rob & Julie arrived the next day by commerical air.
Rob had a Maule parked over in the Vintage & Homebuilt camping area,
much closer to the center of the action. So I folded up the tent,
fired up the Citabria, and headed over to where the Maule was.
Here I am taxiing through Sun 'N Fun.
|
||||||
The moped guy on the left was my guide. They were very well organized at Sun 'N Fun, especially the flight and ground operations.
The new home for the Citabria. Bruce and I posing in front of the
Citabria, waiting for the judges to arrive so we can win the "Grand
Master" award for best restoration. Just kidding.

Our delux accomodations.
I took this picture sitting in my portable lazy-boy chair, with a cold Corona in my hand, watching the daily afternoon airshow. Oh, yeah.
The three Amigos: Bruce, Ray and Bill.
