August 20, 2006 - Essex Skypark gets its runway repaved! |

| The Citabria spent the week at Lee Airport, Annapolis. Lucy drove me to the airport and I hopped in the Citabria and headed north to Essex Skypark. It was a horrible day to fly. The air was what I can only describe as filthy. You couldn't see five miles in a brown haze. It was hot and humid as well. At least the boaters could have some fun at this little island in the Magothy River. | ||||||

And there it was! Wow, it looks like a real runway.
This is huge. It guarantees the Essex Skypark will remain open for at least ten years. |

The runway markings still need to be applied, but overall, the runway
looks great. This is the view looking South.
