AirVenture 2004 - RV stuff |

I took a picture of this elevator trim tab on one of Van's RVs at their booth. I compared it with mine and was relieved that there were no real differences. |
||||||
The RV area. When we went by it was raining so this picture
isn't that great. There were hundreds of RVs, at least it seemed that
many to me.

The Eggenfelder Subaru engine with which 300+ RVs currently fly.
The DeltaHawk Diesel engine, one of the interesting possibilities for RV powerplants.
I also checked out Superior's and AeroSport's booths. I like Superior's XP-360 because it can run Mogas as well as Avgas. It also has some improvements over a stock Lycoming. You can even fly out to their shop and build your own engine, with their assistance, of course. Mattituck and Penn Yan have nice looking O-360s as well. |
