January 28, 2007 - Forward Canopy

After many iterations of fitting the canopy, removing the canopy, trimming the front corners, smoothing the edges, then fitting the canopy again, I got it as good as I could get it.  There is still a little gap between the front edge and the canopy skin -- seen below -- but I figure I can epoxy that down. 
The corners fit snugly.  I ended up making a good size slot in the canopy skin ears. 
Next I did the final trim on the sides. 
Not sure why I took this picture.  Probably the canopy after smoothing the side edges.
