May 20, 2007 - Fuel Lines |
||||||
In an effort to figure out how to bend the fuel lines running from the
wing tanks to the fuel selector valve, I searched the Vans Air Force
forums and looked at a bunch of builder pages. I wasn't having much
luck but then one builder suggested breaking the line in half and joining
them with a Union fitting. Yeah, that works!
I fashioned the portion of the line that runs from the fuel tank hrough the fuse side, then Z-bends alongside the main spar. There it will union to a line running alongside the main spar to the fuel selector valve. |

I screwed in the blue aluminum fittings into the fuel selector valve for
good, coating the threads with EZ-Turn.

I painted the flap push-rods and canopy latch rod with the hammered Silver. | ||||||
