January 3, 2005 - Left Wing

I clecoed the aileron brackets together and then to the rear spar.  Then I match-drilled them.  For some reason, I primed them early, but I will have to prime them again after deburring.  You'd think I'd know the drill by now:  cleco together, match drill, disassemble, deburr, dimple, prime, cleco together, rivet. 

This is the outboard aileron bracket.

Next I clecoed on the aileron gap fairing and match-drilled it to the rear spar and top skin.
Then I did the same with the flap brace.
I have to go to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on business so no building for the next four days.
