January 12, 2012 - Triplane wood arrives from Wicks!
Big day today. My order from Wicks Aircraft Supply arrived. I received a one foot high 4'x4' crate which contained all the aircraft quality plywood, a twenty-one foot long white box containing all the Spruce, and a regular cardboard box containing the glue and brass nails.
The crate packed with aircraft quality birch plywood from Finland.
And this very long box filled with
aircraft quality spruce.
Plus some T-88 two-part epoxy and some brass nails.
A look inside the Spruce box.
It's beautiful wood: perfectly straight and not a single knot or
flaw. | ||||||
I learned from the RV project you should inventory your shipment right away. If something is missing, you want to let them know now, not six months from now. So I did that and found something missing. I called Wicks and then had it in the mail within a week.
