January 3, 2012 - Spar Table

Now that the Rib Jig and Bending Jig are complete, the next step -- and it is a big step -- is to build the Spar Table.  The plans call for you to build a special-purpose 21 1/2 foot table on which to build the three box spars which have to be perfectly straight.  Lynnette and I had made a run to Home Depot last week and bought quite a few two by fours fo the table. 

The first task was to make the five legs.  I started by cutting the four pieces that make up each leg.
