February 9, 2015 - Glue Lower Wing Spar Together
I had one last thing to do before I could glue the spar ladders and spacers together. I cut my 1/2" triangular stock into 3-3/4" segments. These would be the vertical gussets on each side of spacers. Now I was ready.
I started with the Lower Wing spar. I jigged everything up again to get the uniform 8 inches width across the spar ladder outer edges. Starting at one end, I glued each spacer and it's two gussets to the spar ladders, and worked my way down to the other end.
All glueing is done.

I let the lower spar dry for 24 hours, then moved it off the spar table. It seems very strong. One down, two to go!
