November, 2011 - Wings of Texaco Collection
My Dad gave me his complete Wings of Texaco airplane collection. I tried ordering some display cabinets but couldn't find anything that didn't cost an arm and a leg. So I ended up making my own. I must have made at least five trips to Home Depot! This is the left side.

And the right side. Can you spot the one airplane that is not part of the Wings of Texico collection?

Now both sides are pictured. I put some pexiglass over the left side to keep the dust out. I still need to get a piece for the right side.

The view from further out. I'm pleased with how the display cabinet came out and am glad the airplanes are out of their boxes.
