May 7 , 2011 - Young Eagle Rides at Bay Bridge (W29)
Today my EAA Chapter, in conjunction with Chesapeake Sport Pilot, was giving airplane rides to aboug 60 Girl Scouts at Bay Bridge Airport.
It was very well organized.
Each girl received a Young Eagle packet with logbook, certificate, form,
and even a picture of the plane and pilot she was riding with.
Chesapeake Sport Pilot is working on a SeaRey project seen here to the right.
The Bay Bridge Airport FBO
building. | ||||||
I gave five rides and then did a little sightseeing on the way home. The new lens has made a huge difference in the quality of my pictures taken from the RV. Before I could never get good pics of the ground.
Some nice waterfront real estate.
Talisman Airport. If only I had a couple of million, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
How's this for waterview?
Not bad. | ||||||
You just can't see houses like this
from a car. | ||||||
It's so nice that things are green again.
